Flavien RICOU joined CM&A – Chauveau Mulon & Associés in 2023 after working for the Department of Mutual Assistance, Private International Law and European Law of the Ministry of Justice, the French central authority responsible for implementing the Hague
Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. He has also worked for a Lyon law firm specialising in international family law.

He advises on both domestic and international family law issues.

He holds a double degree in French and English law, which has enabled him to learn about both legal systems, as well as a Master 2 in private international law.

He gives legal counsel in both French and in English.
